Artea & Co - About Me
Hi, I’m Abby.
Artea & Co began in the quiet in between moments when life felt uncertain, and I kept returning to the kitchen. It has always been the place that feels steady. Warm. Familiar. Mine.
Growing up, I would come home from school and turn on Food Network. Watching the chefs move through their kitchens with patience and intention was quietly comforting. I didn’t need to try the techniques myself. Just watching felt familiar and reassuring, a gentle reminder that creating something meaningful can be calm, deliberate, and possible.
Life has taken me through the world of accounting. I earned my bachelor’s degree, worked in the field for several years, and now I’m pursuing grad school, all while discovering who I am in real time. I’m naturally quiet and introverted, someone who feels deeply but doesn’t always know how to share it out loud. Baking became the space where I could express myself without needing perfect words.
Artea & Co is an extension of that. Warm bakes, minimal presentation, familiar flavors that feel nostalgic even if you’ve never tried them before. Everything I make carries a little memory — people I love, moments that shaped me, and small pieces of my story that I’m finally allowing myself to share.
I’m building this while continuing my career in accounting, working toward becoming a CPA, and learning how to balance the practical with the creative. I’m growing, softening, and learning to take up space, even if quietly.
Life isn’t that serious.
Sometimes the little things are enough.
Thank you for being here.
— With love, Abby
